Black Dawn / Bright Day
Category : Site-Specific Installation
Black Dawn / Bright Day is a site-specific installation created with 16 colored strings arranged in the order of a spectrum. The installation formed a continuous stream of colors that extended over 100 feet, maneuvered around columns and bounced / twisted off the structures of an old Carnegie library. The space featured a stained glass skylight and neoclassical French imperial column and ceiling designs.
